I had a consultation with Dr. Ramesh Dalwai in the Spine Department and was thoroughly impressed. The hospital is well organized, the staff are exceptionally courteous and friendly, and the cafeteria is excellent. Dr. Dalwai carefully reviewed all my reports and the actual MRI films—something no other spine surgeon I have consulted has done. He patiently answered every question, discussed the pros and cons of different surgical techniques for my specific condition, and clearly explained the approach he would recommend if surgery ever became necessary. I wish to thank Dr Ramesh Dalwai and Dr Nanjaguda profusely for the excellent Care and Treatment for My Spondylodiscitis (infection of bone and disc in spine) and the Surgery thereafter. Both of them displayed abundant Medical Acumen and Specialisation that made me comfortable both before and after the Surgery. I was wheeled in the wee hours of 22nd May and was operated upon on 24th May. The Precision with which the entire process was carried out can be compared to the Best Hospitals across the World. I am a 74 year old senior citizen. During my visit to a temple in Maryland USA in March 2025, I happened to fall down the steps when climbing the stairs and that too on my back and injured same. Further, I aggravated my condition by walking a lot over the next 5 weeks. Back in the UK to spend time with my son's family on my return journey to India , one fine morning I couldn't even bend down my head when brushing my teeth. It progressively got worsened and after returning to India in June got all the tests done incl MRI which revealed the L3L4 nerves were badly compressed. Epidural injection under LA didnt help decompress. That is when my daughter in law who herself is a senior Spine Surgoen in the UK recimmended Dr. Ramesh whi had earlier worked with her in the UK and got the necessary expiertise in all aspects of the spine treatment. So, on the 17th September of 2025, I got myself admitted at Sakkara Hospital and underwent this major surgery performed by Dr. Ramesh. I was looked after very well by his team including his senior anaesthetist for several hours whilst in the IT. I was made to walk within 2 days after surgery and slowly but surely recovered over time. Now, after nearly 8 months, I am close to being normal and can walk 4 kms every day. I AM VERY MUCH GREATFUL FOR DR. RAMESH FOR HELPING ME DURING MY DIFFICULT TIMES AND FOR ALL THAT I AM TODAY. My sister M Chennamma is a flower vendor, she had severe back pain for many years. After consulting Dr Ramesh Dalwai, she underwent D10 to S2 instrumented fusion and L5-S1 TLIF in January 2026.
